1. 수집하는 개인정보 항목

TalkToLive 서비스(이하 "서비스")는 실시간 다국어 통역 기능 제공을 위해 다음의 최소한의 정보를 처리합니다.

음성 데이터 — 사용자가 마이크 버튼을 눌러 발화한 음성. 브라우저의 Web Speech API를 통해 텍스트로 변환됩니다.
발화 텍스트 — 음성 인식으로 변환된 텍스트. 번역을 위해 Google Cloud Translation API 서버로 전송됩니다.
선택 언어 — 사용자가 설정한 말하기/듣기 언어 코드.
사용자 이름(닉네임) — 입장 시 직접 입력하는 표시 이름. 실명 확인 없이 임의로 설정 가능합니다.

      ⚠️ 중요: 음성 녹음은 당사 서버에 저장되지 않습니다.
      음성은 브라우저에서 텍스트로 변환된 후 번역 목적으로만 처리되며, 변환·번역 후 즉시 폐기됩니다. 당사는 음성 파일 또는 텍스트 로그를 별도 보관하지 않습니다.

3. 제3자 제공 — Google Cloud Translation API

발화 텍스트는 번역을 위해 Google LLC의 Cloud Translation API로 전송됩니다.

전송 데이터: 발화 텍스트, 소스/타겟 언어 코드
Google의 데이터 처리 정책: cloud.google.com/translate/data-usage
Google은 API 요청 데이터를 서비스 개선 목적으로 사용할 수 있습니다.

4. 개인정보 보유 및 이용 기간

발화 텍스트: 번역 완료 즉시 파기 (당사 서버 비보관)
세션 정보(세션 코드, 참가자 수): 세션 종료 시 즉시 삭제
동의 기록: 브라우저 세션 내 저장 (탭 닫으면 삭제)

5. 사용자의 권리

개인정보보호법에 따라 이용자는 언제든지 다음의 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.

당사는 실시간 처리 외 별도 저장이 없으므로, 저장된 개인정보 삭제·정정 요구는 해당 사항이 없습니다.

본 서비스는 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다.

본 개인정보처리방침이 변경될 경우 서비스 내 공지를 통해 안내합니다.

1. Data We Collect

TalkToLive (the "Service") processes the following minimal data to provide real-time interpretation:

Voice data — Audio captured when you press the microphone button. Converted to text locally via the browser's Web Speech API.
Spoken text — The transcribed text, sent to Google Cloud Translation API for translation.
Language preferences — Your selected speaking and listening language codes.
Display name / nickname — The name you enter when joining. No identity verification is performed.

      ⚠️ Important: Voice recordings are NOT stored on our servers.
      Audio is converted to text in your browser and used solely for translation. No voice files or text logs are retained by us after the session.
    

2. Purpose of Processing

To provide real-time multilingual interpretation
To display translated speech to room participants

3. Third-Party Service — Google Cloud Translation

Spoken text is transmitted to Google LLC's Cloud Translation API for translation.

Data transmitted: spoken text, source/target language codes
Google's data usage policy: cloud.google.com/translate/data-usage
Google may use API request data to improve their services.

4. Retention Period

Spoken text: discarded immediately after translation (not stored by us)
Session data (session codes, participant count): deleted when session ends
Consent record: stored in browser session only (cleared when tab closes)

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

Access information about how your data is processed
Stop processing immediately by closing the app
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Since we do not retain personal data beyond the active session, erasure/correction requests are not applicable.

6. Children's Privacy

This service is not directed to children under 14 years of age.
